The Independent Election Commission (IEC), based on the electoral time-line of Wolesi Jirga election, has all the preparation in hand to conduct Wolesi Jirga Election on 18th September 2010. The candidate nomination process has been started form 20th April and will run until 5th May 2010 with 1 day extension.

During candidate nomination process, the applicants must come in person to IEC provincial offices with completion of all documents that have been mentioned in candidate nomination regulation. 

It is also important to point out that starting from today Thursday 30th April, 6 other days remains for candidate nomination of WJ election and there will be no extension in the process.
